In this section I will be reviewing some cards and show some good ways to use them in a tcg deck! I will also give some tips along the way ^-^".
This Celebi can serve a good purpose in a deck by helping LEAF energy Pokemon. You first use Sprouting to get 2 LEAF energy, then use a Leaf Tornado to transfer those energy to another Pokemon, maybe one with an attack of higher power that costs more energy? Having trouble drawing enough LEAF energy for your deck? This Celebi can help you grab it quick! In conclusion, this Celebi can help gather energy and play a supportive position in a LEAF deck.
Pro Tip: Always have a lot of energy handy in your deck, it will help you when a Pokemon needs to attack!
This trainer card "Energy Retrieve" can help a deck insanely. As you use energy, they are discarded into the lonely discard pile, but if you are having trouble finding more energy as the discard piles up, use this card to refill your energy supply! The best thing is, it puts 2 energy into your HAND!!! Right where you need it! This card is pretty much a must have in any deck, and you may want to have more than one.
This Feraligatr can actually be a good Pokemon offensively AND defensively! It's powerhouse move Hydro Crunch may cost four energy, but if you send it out against a weakened Pokemon, or evolve it after fighting with Croconaw, beware! But it's Poke Power Rain Dance is even more interesting. You can use this to attach a WATER energy to any of your Pokemon, including Feraligatr, This is an easy way to power up your Hydro Crunch, or use it to support another of your pokemon.
This Pokemon, when played correctly, can be the bane of your opponent's existence! With it's Dark Aura Ability, attach any (and as many) energy as you can to this Hydreigon, they then turn into DARKNESS energy for Hydreigon's 60 power Berserker Blade! Berserker Blade also affects 2 pokemon in the opponents' bench for 3-at-a-time damage! This Pokemon is essential in a DARKNESS deck!
Kyurem EX is a good Pokemon to have in a deck if you are an offensive player. With it's 2 attacks Frozen Wings and Hail Blizzard, each with high power, makes for an easy knockout after knockout, and a fast way to earn Prize Cards!
Pro Tip: Sometimes, Pokemon like Latias and Latios work hand in hand. In this case, with Sky Heal (Latias) if Latios is in play, you are healed, and with Poke Body Luster Float (Latios) its retreat cost is 0! These Pokemon are great to have in a deck together.
This Manaphy card is a good supportive Pokemon. It may not be that powerful, but it's Dive attack can help you quickly add cards you need to your deck. Say that you needed a Flaafy to evolve your Mareep, but after drawing many cards, you can't find it. Play this Manaphy, and you may find it, along with many other cards that could help you! This is a recommended Pokemon to have in a WATER deck. You should use Feraligatr's Rain Dance to help gain power for Dive.
