This section helps you create the perfect pokemon card deck with the second step: reviewing some cardsThe first step to creating a perfect deck is to check it's condition. The scale of cards' conditions goes from Mint to Poor. I am not here to help you discuss conditions though ^v^" you can find more info at Sora or here. The second step is reviewing your cards... and this is what we will teach you!
1. determine the needs of your deckIs your deck going to have Psychic types? Lots of Full Heals? 3 different Stadium cards? Sort through your card binders and see what cards you have. If you have many Fighting Energy and some Fighting Pokemon, get a Fighting deck, but if you feel like you need cards that you don't have, go to a store; I recommend Amazon, Walmart, Target, or as a last resort, eBay!_!
2. gather trainers, supporters, stadium, energy, and pokemonA good deck requires varied content! Make a checklist of the things you've included. Also use the right amount of each card. There is 60 cards per deck; therefore, you should include about 1 stadium, 5 items, 8 trainer/supporter, 20-28 energy, and 5-10 Pokemon AT LEAST!!!
3. create/ consider a strategyThere comes a time...in which trainers are introduced to competitive battling! In TCG it's slightly different, but you still must make a strategy that can win battles. You can go offensive, with 100 power attacks!!!!!! Or you could use attacks that are amplified by special conditions... like a Froslass' Wake Up Slap (I forgot which set ^-^") A list of strategy ideas found below:
Offensive Defensive "The Switcher" Special Condition Offense Special Condition Defense Over Energized 4. Plan & RevisePlan and revise your deck, put it together, MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE ANY MISTAKES and have a practice battle with your friend! If you look over steps 2-3 again, it couldn't hurt ^-^" After you're done with these steps, your top class deck is ready to battle!
